Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS)

Most road accidents occur as a result of human error. ADAS in dash cameras are designed to help alert the driver to specific events so that the driver can adjust their driving to reduce potential accidents.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

helpsThe LDWS system monitors your vehicle’s position within its driving lane and provides alerts when your vehicle drifts out of its lane. LDWS is often activated at speeds of 70km/h and greater. 

Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS)

FCWS monitors your vehicle's position and distance from the vehicle ahead. FCWS will provide alerts when your vehicle is less than 20m from the vehicle in front of you.

The feature is often supported when your dash camera has built-in GPS, as it uses your car's location via satellite positioning. As a result, FCWS accuracy may vary in certain conditions, such as cloudy weather, rain, and night.

Driver Fatigue Alert

DFA, when activated, can provide audible alerts every 30 minutes until the vehicle is switched off.

This function is most effective when the vehicle is used for long drives, especially at night when drivers are tired and likely to fall asleep behind the wheel. The following driver safety functions are for reference only.
